About Me
"An army is a team. It lives, eats, sleeps, fights as a team. This individuality stuff is a bunch of bullshit." - General George Patton Jr
Who Am I?
Well, that is a very broad question. I am Tia
.but you probably know that. What are my beliefs? Oh, I have lots of those. Too many to go into now, maybe when my book comes out you can all read them before going to bed. For now I will give you the short and sweet version of my life up until now. I will of course omit lots and lots of very important things that have molded me into the woman I am today.
I was raised as an Army Brat. I went to a zillion different schools, but it was fine because I had fabulous parents. My parents are still great, and they are OUTSTANDING grandparents. I hope Stu and I can be as good as they were to our own little brood. I graduated from Queens College (now they have changed the name to Queens University) in Charlotte, NC with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. I was commissioned in the Nurse Corps and served 4 years Active Duty as a nurse. Great job. Loved it, there are no better patients than military patients.
I fell in love and married a fine Army officer. We now have 3 sweet little kids. Two of which may very well be immaculately conceived due to the fact that we were apart so often
.but as my mom said it only takes once. Ahh
deployments and R&R. What an odd way to work a relationship, but I don’t see it changing anytime soon.
So there is a bit of my background. I am an Army wife through and through. Born and bred . I understand the loneliness of being separated from your spouse so often. I understand the worry you carry around for your mate each time they leave. I have taught all three of my children to pray for the Lords Angels to surround and protect their father and his troops. I understand how nice it is to have a piece of your husband with you. This is where the bags come in.
I have been making these bags for 5 years now. Each design is my own, that I have created. I started making these bags in Ft Hood, Texas. I want every bag I make to reflect the couple I make it for. Your pride in your hero
.but with style. I love what I do, I pour myself into each bag I make. I work on bags in my little studio every day. I normally have a wait of about 3 to 4 months. I know it is a long time, but I really want each bag to be a work of art...from the big Stu tote to the tiny mad money wallets. I take my time on each bag. I make each bag good enough for me to carry and wonderful enough to surpass your expectations.
